As a leading designer and manufacturer of heat exchangers, our team has been selected to engineer, design, and manufacture a large, submerged arc furnace cooler for Mississippi Silicon in Burnsville, MS.
Closed-Loop Evaporative System Touted for Process Fluid Cooling:
As the developer of the EconoCool technology, it has been proven that a closed-loop evaporative system employing a single-step process is more effective and efficient for cooling process fluids and/or condensing gases than a conventional two-step process, such as open-cooling towers or a separate heat exchanger.
J.D. Cousins completed three separator tanks for a southern refinery:
The carbon steel tanks were 84” in diameter x 22’ long and 5/8” thick, and weighed 20,000 lbs. The size of the tanks paired with the required quality assurance checks and tight delivery schedule posed many obstacles; all of which the J.D. Cousins' team conquered to deliver the units on time with precision.
